PANTONE COLOR FOR SPRING: GRAYED JADE...

One of the three greens on the Pantone Fashion Color Report for Spring 2013 is GRAYED JADE. This subtle green with a gray undertone brings about a mood of sophistication and is a nice backdrop to several of the other vibrant colors this season.
Here's how Grayed jade translates on the runway...
Alberta Ferretti
Catherine Malandrino
And here's how its translates in interior design and home decor...
Not to be confused with its cousin Mint Green, very popular in the 70s, this is a more soothing hue. Best suited with colors of a similar tone such as Linen or Dusk Blue, Grayed Jade is well complimented with Nectarine or African Violet for pizzazz.

Here are several ways designers have taken the subtly of Grayed Jade and amped it up with texture and pattern...

Happy trend spotting...

  1. I LOVE THIS! Pantone colors are all so fabulous and Grayed Jade is a prime example! We love it so much that we made it our color of the week and put together a fabulous outfit on our blog to show how to dress wearing Pantone's Grayed Jade using an analogous color palette. You can take a look at it here www.weartostandout.com/blog/pantone-grayed-jade and tell us what you think! xoxo, WearToStandOut
